Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott held their annual ladainh or litany after a two year gap on 28th May 2022 at 5 pm. The gap was due to the pandemic. As against the normal practice of having the litany at the Cross on top of the hillock at Ghottmorod, this year it was held at the Cross at the ground level. Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott organised a football coaching camp for children aged below 14 years from the twin villages of Chandor-Cavorim and Guirdolim. In all 55 children were trained in the game that is a favourite amongst Goans. These included 44 boys and 11 girls and in future one can expect an all ladies football team from here. Guirdolim and Chandor residents are upset with the Salcete Taluka Level Coastal Committee for its failure to carry out an inspection of CRZ violation in Guirdolim. Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott had complained to the Collector South that the railways had filled up a rivulet in Guirdolim and blocked its joining the Kushawati river.
