Pre-monsoon cleanliness drive

Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott in collaboration with the Village Panchayats of Chandor-Cavorim and Guirdolim undertook a pre-monsoon cleanliness drive in the two villages wherein plastic and glass found lying by the roadside, in gutters and in open spaces was collected. Around 33 labourers were involved in this massive cleanliness drive that started at 7 am and ended at 11:30 am. While nearly one truckload of plastic waste was collected from the two villages, one mini-truck load of glass bottles and other waste was also collected. Twelve Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott members led by the President Joe Antao were actively involved in the drive.
