In collaboration with the Dalgado Konknni Akademi, an essay competition in Roman Konkani on the topic 2021-ant mhozo ganv Chandor was held on 13th November 2008. In all there were nine entries and the first prize went to Mrs. Brenda Savio D’Silva who gave a futuristic view of Chandor in 2021 painting a vivid picture of what amenities would be there in our village. Even as the case is pending in the court against this illegality, the owner of that land constructed two huge tanks on the top of the hill at the edge.
