Excelling at SSCE

They fill us with pride for their excellent performance at the Secondary School Certificate Examinations conducted this year by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

Master Swaylon Frangel Fernandes who scored 93.5% marks achieved the distinction of being the first ranker from the 110 students of St. Joseph Educational Institute who answered the exams
He is the son od Santan and Greta Fernandes from Mena Covatem. Incidentally Santan is a member of Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott.
Master Sudanshu Naik, son of Ajay and Apurva from Cupamoddi, Assolda who bagged 91.5% was ranked second in the school.
Coming at the third position was Wayne da Costa who got 89.6%. He is the child of Nazareth da Costa and Natalina Estebeiro from Moll, Guirdolim.
97.2 % of the 110 students from the school passed as only 3 needed improvement. While 34 students secured Distinctions, 50 got First Class and 23 passed with Second Class. Congratulations to the teachers, staff of the school and the parents of the students.

Incidentally as per information available Miss Janeczka Euvronia Colaco, daughter of Jerson Colaco and Melba Antao from Collosso, Guirdolim got the highest marks amongst all the students living in Chandor. Studying at Presentation Convent High School at Fatorda she secured 95.33 per cent marks.
