Tri-cycle for cleanliness

The Chandor-Cavorim Village Panchayat has launched yet another venture to keepthe village clean by employing a person to go around the village collecting plasticwaste not only from the households but also from the streets and open spaces.

For  this purpose a tricycle has been donated by Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott  to thePanchayat besides also giving the employee of the Panchayat a T-shirt and a cap.Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott has also prepared pamphlets that educate the people tomanage the plastic waste and the same will be distributed to each household in thevillage by the Panchayat.Village Parish Priest Fr. Saude Pereira blessed the tricycle at a very simple ceremony held on 16th March near the Panchayat office.
