Chandor school gets 95.95%

 95.95% of the 74 students of St Joseph’s Educational Institute, Chandor, cleared the Secondary School Certificate examinations conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. This year two of the top three students were male while last year all three toppers were female students and all lived in Cavorim, Chandor.

Living at New Township, Guirdolim, Ophilia Alina Dias, secured 85% making her the top ranker.

 Soft spoken Asher Franz D’Costa came at second place with his 83.33%. Son of Antonio who is working in Kuwait and Antonetta who is a teacher, Reagan prefers using the mother tongue while conversing. Aspiring to join the medical profession, he has sought admission in the science stream at Holy Rosary Higher Secondary School, Navelim.

 Reagan Valanko Crasto with 82.33% was the third highest ranker. His father Richard works for the Military services at Margao while his mother Rency is a home maker, who live at Covatem, Cavorim. Reagan is now studying Catering and Restaurant Management at Holy Rosary, Navelim as he wishes to serve in the Merchant Navy.
