In September 2025, Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott (GBE) undertook a project never attempted before since its formation in late 2000s; besides they also crossed the state border to visit two placed in the neighbouring state of Karnataka.  On 8th September 10 GBE members lead by president Alzira Pereira visited Beth-Beth Lehem society at Bhaire near Karwar. This society is run and managed by Fr. Salvador Coutinho who hails from Chandor. Mentally challenged and homeless people are looked after at this institute, and presently there are 27 such people housed here. Before forming this society, Fr. Ganv Bhanvancho Ekvott (GBE) celebrated fellowship in the month of August, when members visited a house maintained by the Missionaries of Charity in Qupem taluka and participated in the Ganpati celebration with the Hindu brethren of the twin villages of Chandor-Cavorim and Guirdolim.  On 25th of August 18 GBE members along with 2 children visited the home for challenged persons maintained by the Missionaries of Charity in Qupem taluka. Over 30 challenged people are cared for this house by a team led by three sisters belonging to the society.  GBE member Ronnie D’Souza celebrated his birthday with the challenged persons, who besides the cake were also served chocolates and cookies. Month dedicated to respect and protection

Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott dedicated the month of July 2025 to paying respect to the elderly, caring for the sick and ensuring protection for the living.  On 20th July, seven GBE members led by President Alzira Pereira and General Secretary Jose Coutinho visited 13 households in Guirdolim, where they visited 26 people who are old or suffering from a sickness.  With Managing Committee member Francis alias Hanchik Peixote as the project manager, they visited households in five wards of Guirdolim including Molla and Niamorod.  Earlier on 14th July, 5 members led by Alzira and Jose cleaned and planted plants at the 3 Kings Traffic Island and the adjoining traffic islands in front of the church.  The images of the 3 Kings were installed on the islands by founder member...

Notwithstanding the summer heat of May, Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott had a flurry of activities as five different projects were held.  In collaboration with Museum of Christian Art, GBE held a four hour long workshop on 7th May 2025 on preparing Azulejos.  In all, 16 villagers were trained in preparing Azulejo, the mesmerising printing of tiles immortalised by Portuguese. All the participants were provided with kits that included acrylic paints to help them prepare Azulejos.  Actually Azulejo were initially prepared by the Moors which were adapted by the Spanish but immortalised by the Portuguese explained Gunjan Mitra coordinator of the three member team from the Museum that conducted the training. GBE to undertake “Bio-Mimicry” at Cavorim Oll

Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott initiated implementing “Bio-Mimicry” along the Oll or creek in Cavorim by conducting an educative session on 23 rd March to explain the process and its need. “Bio-Mimicry” is a non-invasive process involving manually uprooting weeds like Congress Grass and creepers thatthwart the growth of good plants that have strong roots to hold the soil. Mechanised process of using bush cutters results in killing the much needed natural plants along with the weeds. In all 40 people including the Alternate President and Attorney or Cavorim Communidade along with Chandor Club General Secretary participated in the session. Ganv Bhavancho Ekvott dedicated the month of February that is associated with Valentine or love, to the sick and elderly in the twin villages of Chandor-Cavorim and Guirdolim by giving them tender loving care at their residence. On 2nd February, GBE members visited 12 sick or elderly people residing at Cotta. GBE members who visited them were John Douglas Coutinho, Chester Mascarenhas, Ezly Henriques, Francis Coutinho, Menino alias Minush Gomes, Agneline Gracias, Deliela Fernandes and President Alzira Pereira.
