Crib Chandor Church – 25-December-2012

Parish Youth Chandor this year has prepared a thematic crib for the Christmas season questioning the place of Jesus Christ in the present world engulfed with problems and chasing after materialism. The presentation shows the devastation of nature through rampant mining in one corner which is totally gloomy looking with its stark muddy colour. At the other end is the pleasure seeking culture of discotheques. The front portion is occupied by mega storeyed building symbolizing the rapid urbanization of our State. So where is the crib in this presentation? Well it is placed in a tree house with a poster beneath questioning “Aichea somazant Jezuk zago khoim asa?” meaning where is the place for Jesus in present society?
